SEPTEMBER: CHOOSING NOT TO FIGHT

The message for September is short but very powerful: “Eschew weaponry. Now, that can be understood in a lot of ways… in one sense it means do not use defenses. Do not feel that you have to resort to guns, or violence, biting back. Do not engage in the fight. Do not go to war.

Do not defend from the place of ‘it’s us against them’. That is a trap and it’s not what you or the collective of life forms need. It’s not the highest possible response to the outer world.” September is the “Expand to Include” month. We have to acknowledge that other people have different points of view. Instead of having a “knee-jerk” reaction, we have to come to peace with being limited humans and let the Divine have the real power.

Perspective from the Council: The “Actor” reminds you that most conflicts are just a “Divine Drama” you agreed to play a part in. Anubis reminds us that we are “all valuable human beings” who often lack the “long view.” In September, the Multitudes urge you to “Expand to Include” the other actors’ perspectives. When you “lay down your spears and shields,” you stop fighting limitation with limitation and allow “Generation” as new life, to sprout from the “compost” of old arguments.
